FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 

WHEN & WHERE IS THE SALE?

Matilda Junkies Consignment sale is a bi-annual Matilda Jane ONLY consignment sale that happens in February and August/September. The next sale is coming up September 11 & 12, 2020. It is located in Traditions subdivision in Cumming, Georgia.  4125 Baxter Walk, Cumming, GA 30040. 

 

What SEASONS AND CONDITIONS DO YOU TAKE AT EACH SALE?

We take ALL SEASONS and ALL CONDITIONS of Matilda Jane Clothing! We know that Matilda Jane Clothing is very versatile and can be worn year round so we accept ALL seasons. We know that some of you are crafty and can re-purpose well-loved MJ with holes and stains so we also accept All conditions as long as it is well marked on your tag. Please highlight the tag where it describes the item and keep them separate at drop off so we can place them on the PLAY CONDITION racks at the sale.

IS THERE ONLY KIDS' CLOTHING AT THE SALE?

 

Although Matilda Jane is well known for their girl's clothing, we actually have an adorable baby collection and a trendy tween collection. And for you ladies, we will have a nice collection of Women's Clothing in sizes XS -XXL. In addition, we will have a small section of clothes for our boys along with some mens too. 

 

ARE STROLLERS & CHILDREN ALLOWED AT THE SALE?

 

There is no room for strollers at the sale, so please leave strollers at home. We LOVE kids, however, we would like to strongly encourage NOT bringing children to any of the sales if possible. Sales can be crowded, and with racks of clothes kids can be hard to spot or some racks can be unsteddy and can be a potential danger.

 

WHO CAN SHOP THE PRESALE?

Consignors, Volunteers, and New & Soon-to-Be Moms. There is also a way to earn Pre-Sale Passes in my Facebook group for promoting and sharing the sale. If you aren't a member of my Matilda Junkies Facebook Group - click here to join. Also, starting at 7pm there is a way to shop the Pre-Sale by making a $10 charity donation at the door to shop early - this is open to everyone that makes a donation.

 

CAN I BRING A BAG, BASKET, OR SOMETHING ELSE TO FILL WHILE I SHOP?

 

You are welcome to bring a basket (laundry or other), bin or large tote to carry your items in during the sale but please no shopping bags. Bags will be checked at the door when exiting the sale. We do not provide bags

 

IS THERE A MINIMUM OF ITEMS REQUIRED TO CONSIGN?

 

We want this to be well worth your time so we set a minimum of 5 pieces for each seller. 

 

I WANT TO SELL, BUT I HAVE NO TIME! CAN SOMEONE TAG FOR ME?

 

Yes, we get it! You are a busy mom who doesn't have the time to tag and enter every piece of Matilda Jane. Email us at matildajunkies@gmail.com to sign up for our VIP service. We will set up a drop off time or meet time to get your items and do all of the work for you. After the sale, you collect 50% of your sales! 

 

DO I HAVE TO BE A CONSIGNOR IN ORDER TO VOLUNTEER?

No. You do not have to be a consignor to volunteer at the sale. Non-consigning volunteers must work at least 2 shifts to receive a pre-sale shopping pass.

 

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY VOLUNTEER SHIFT?

 

If you must cancel your shift we ask that you call or email us to let us know at least 24 hours before your shift. Please note that if you shop the presale due to your volunteer hours 'to be completed' and don't compelete the required shifts after shopping the presale we will have to look into holding back presale passes for future sales.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT AT THE SALE?

We are happy to take cash, venmo, paypal, or credit card. Credit cards & Paypal will have a small processing fee.
